Comparison methodology

Fair comparisons need a paper trail.

Competitor products, pricing, and category boundaries change. Every comparison uses current primary sources where possible and shows when the page was last verified.

Primary sources first

Official product pages, pricing pages, documentation, and company announcements are the starting point. Secondary sources are not used when an official source can support the claim.

Visible verification date

Each comparison shows a Last verified date and links the sources checked. Pricing is omitted when it is not publicly verifiable.

Strengths on both sides

Every page explains where the competitor is stronger, where SaaS Spartan is stronger, and when using both could make sense.

No paid placement

SaaS Spartan does not accept vendor referral fees, reseller commissions, or paid placement in recommendations while that policy remains in force.

How claims are handled

Do not infer a missing feature from a quiet page.

  • Objective claims need a current basis before publication.
  • Public pricing is stated only when an official source makes it clear.
  • “Does not” claims require direct support or are softened.
  • Vendor savings and dataset figures are labeled as self-described claims.
  • Features and pricing can change; buyers should confirm before purchase.
  • Corrections are recorded and the source date is refreshed.

Use the comparison that fits the decision.

The right answer may be a platform, procurement system, service, or a combination.
